Hi all, I just attempted to do a recovery using AlienRespawn on 2 HDDs. I used two to prove consistency in this error message. I put my recovery state on a USB stick, and boot into it on my PC. AlienRespawn loads, but displays this message when loaded, "The system recovery image cannot be found. Please make sure your recovery media is inserted and restart your PC." It goes on to say to make sure that it is not connected to a USB 3.0 port, which it is not. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Note: I'm on an Alienware Aurora R3 System and my goal is to revert to factory settings on my new SSD.

This is an Alienware Laptop forum. Please visit http://forum.desktopreview.com/alienware/ for assistance with your Aurora R3. There may be other Aurora R3 desktop owners that know exactly what to tell you based on their experience.

Was your original recovery media a RAID0 membership of two or more HDD versus one SSD? If so, that may have something to do with the failure. I have always found restoring a RAID0 image to single HDD or SSD to fail. If it is an older version of Respawn, it might be looking for an original recovery partition, which is not present on your SSD.

You might find some information about AlienRespawn in this thread that will work for your desktop:
