I am trying to find out if it is possible to replace the optical drive (CD drive) in the new M15x laptops. I have tried searching around and I did find Mr. Moo's guide, but unfortunately that links to the old m15x version. I am trying to find out about the new M15x. Anyone know if this is possible? I would like to replace my standard CD drive with a Blu-Ray drive.
Would this blu ray drive work? It has been said that it will fit the old m15x perfectly, but I couldn't find any confirmation on how it fits in the new ones.

tried Chapter 21 already?
Edit, are you drunk? the old m15X had a drive with a tray ,where the new one clearly doesnt. -
unless you are very comfortable and practiced taking apart things like this(which I'm guessing you are not seeing as how you are asking this and haven't bothered reading the service manual which is linked numerous times) I'd say it's not a good idea. the optical drive is probably the hardest thing to swap in the M15x.
either get the laptop with it already installed or let it go. -
