ey guys just wondering if it would make a difference if I reapplied thermal paste on my m15x's 8800gtx. It isnt overheating or stuttering but temps do go up to 90 degrees C, so hopefully reducing temps would improve the life and stability of the machine.

Have any of you done this and is it recommended ?

I'd highly recommend it. It could lower the temperature by 5-10C or more.

I had to replace the thermal paste after baking my video card... mine is also running at around 90 when gaming, so i will also replace the thermal paste.

Im using generic dynex (or something) paste, but picked up some ocz freeze... gonna try that.

long story short, I'd reapply if I were you.
