    Resetting Powermizer to get Fusion and fans working?

    Hey,

    I've an M17xR1 and was affected by that whole debacle a while back, the most recent drivers seem to fix the issue but I can't get the fans to stop throyyling weirdly or use Fusion, even though Powermizer has been re-enabled.

    Any help'd be great,

    wow that was a great guide in your link, have to tey it out sometimes. also why do you even need fusion, window power management does the exact same thing.

    I don't really need fusion, I'm just using it as an indicatior of whether things are back to 'normal' or not. It doesn't work if it thinks the registry is messed up.

    Also, I may make another thread about this but does anyone know if the final update posted here http://en.community.dell.com/blogs/...dpc-latency-for-alienware-m17x-customers.aspx are the most recent usable drivers?
    I just tried the latest official ones and am getting latency spikes with them.
