    i only have dell's windows CD with windows and drivers CD.
    what is a respawn cd ? sounds like AW stuff :D

    You get the Respawn DVD if you pay extra for it ;)
    It's needed if the recovery partition is gone, it can restore the basic image of your factory installed system partition.

    I bet, you could use some third party tool to create one.
