    Restoring Vista's default right click search after SP1

    This will restore right click Search function to Start button, files, and drives.

    Start>Start Search>type regedit>navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT folder>navigate to the below subfolders.

    RIGHT CLICK SEARCH-

    To restore the context menu, delete the " LegacyDisable" value under the following registry keys:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\find
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CompressedFolder\shell\find
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\find
