BIOS does not store an OS.
you will need the vista cd.

ok i found the CD, installed it, But their are no Alienware drivers nor internet drivers.

So now i'm faced with this problem, How can i put drivers on my laptop from my computer WITHOUT a driver on my laptop allowing both my computer and laptop to connect ( including wireless internet... )

    Annoying, isn't it..

Guess i'll have to buy some CD's or a flashdrive...

you should have an AW access account for drivers and such.
go to the support area of the AW site and see if you can dig up the drivers there...if not, you may have to call them to get access if you cant do it yourself.

Therefore, sir, you are the dummy :)

Take a look at your desktop hard drive plug and see if it can support the laptop hard drives. I heard alot of Miro computers like to use both laptop or desktop hard drives becuse they are the same power and port. I think I seen it on tomshardware.com

use the hard drive as a slave hard drive. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/245289-32-connecting-sata-disk-desktop-internal-sata

The best idea is download wifi then move it back to the laptop and do the rest of installs. Becuse it dont sound like it %100

my m15x came with not only a restore cd, but also a full driver cd. By now many of them have been updated, but they'd get u connected at least. Did you not get one? I'd assume you would have put it in the same place u found your restore cd.

Ya the only one he need is the wi fi for internet. so he can get the other drivers. I agree he should of had a cd for the updates.
