I am taking a holiday in New York later this week and I am hoping to buy an M11x.
From looking in general at the retail stores online they only seem to have R1's.
I don't mind an R1 but would prefer an R2, besides the DELL site I haven't been able to find any R2's.

So I was hoping if anyone would be able to tell me any retail outlets that stock R2's and what price they are retailing at?

Btw I'm from Aus and the DELL outlet here is way overpriced compared to the US site.

I don't remember ever seeing Alienwares when I lived in NYC. That was before m11x came out though.

I would check Best Buy, some of their stores have it and there are at least 2 bigger ones on Manhattan, from what I remember.

If you goto BB web site, and add the AW laptop to the cart, you should be able to check which stores in the area have it in stock.

Of course if you have a US based credit card, you can order it for pickup there as well

Also thanks for the Micro centre tip if I have time I will take a look there too but I will have to take public transport to get there.

As for best buys in my area everyone in queens and the city are ship to store, so you place the order online and do a in store pickup it usually takes 2-3 days . As for micro I was just there last week and they definately have them in stock. But by public transportation it's about an hour- 1-1/2 trip it's kind of far from the city.

Thanks a lot for the check up.
Did they have any i5 m11x or m15x's?
On the website it seemed there were only C2D m11x's.

both the M15x and M17x offers the i3,i5 and i7 series. however the i series on the M11x is a lower voltage version of the cpu. so don't expect the same performance as the higher voltage ones.
