    awell I am running win7, and was checking my heat, its really odd so I don't know who to trust. Rivia tuner is telling me my cpu temp is 80c while thermo fan is saying 45c

    No I think the OP is not comparing the same temperature. On CPU there are two temperatures: one for the core and one for the overall CPU. It's possible for the core to be 30 degrees more than the envelope.

    Give HWMonitor a try. I have found it to be the most accurate. Small little app with no impact to resources.

    Can RivaTuner overclock the GTX280Ms in SLI? Maybe even adjust the fan speed?
