    Running 3dMark06 on M17, what do you shut down?

    I am curious what you all shutdown be it programs running in the background or applications when you run a test using 3dMark06 to achieve a healthier score? I also heard some get better score after a restart, is this the case?

    Getting ready to run the program (mark) and see where my laptop scores in comparison to others.

    Thanks in advance for your thoughts and advice. :)

    I don't shut down anything, I'm not going for records, I want to know the score when I got the laptop running how it normally does.

    i close all running programs (MSN, firefox, etc), but i'm not so hardcore as to disable my AV, shut down system processes etc just to get a better score.

    My thoughts as well, just ran it and scored 11963, good/bad? Running a few small programs in the background--Rainmeter/RocketDock...
