I am getting this message at startup in the Nvidia control panel:

"Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology has predicted a failure on your disk. It is recommended that you immediately back up your data and replace the hard disk."

It says that one of my disks are failing, but according to the disk managment in Vista, the system should be healthy.

Do you recommend a program that can fix my drive or confirm what is going on?

I cant tell how many hours I have been using the drives, but they are the ones that was originally installed, and I have used the computer almost every day since september last year.

Then you should have no problem with it. Most drives last a long time.

I could be a false signal but just to be safe I would backup everything thats important on the drive.

If I does fail you should be covered by warranty.

+1 back up your files, just in case.

Try CrystalDiskInfo and see what it says about your drive Health Status

I backed up my data because according to Seagates own HDD tool, one of the drives are fubar. Warranty covers it though.

Thanks for the response guys, at least I learned a few things.
