    Hey guys

    Thinking about getting the

    M15x

    Or

    M17x

    Or

    XPS Studio i7

    On the UK website:

The M15X doesnt have an option if the 225GB drive like the USA website does

The M17X doesnt have an option for 256GB RAID 0 SSD Drive like the USA website does

When I have been chatting to to Dell using the live chat tool thing, they say its not possible to have the M15X with the SSD, I told them what I just said now. Havent tried tried asking about the SSD option I want for the M17X yet, think I'll have the same problem.

So can anyone help here, anyone have UK part number for waht I want?

Or do I have to keep trying to get different advirson on the char tool?

    Cheers In Advance

I wonder if they would give you a discount for an SSD bought separately with M15x or the 2nd and configure the RAID yourself for M17x? Dell sells their own OEM SSD's, (of course they are Samsung) can't imagine why they wouldn't sell you as many as you wanted unless there was the usual legal problems Microsoft, Intel and Samsung has in EURO/UK territories.

...and don't forget about Nvidia's legal problems

Good point i'll have to try that

    Bloody Hate the UK!
America gets all the good deals!

Base price you get is $1800 Ours is £1600, after converting from dollers $978 (Including taking away the free alienware keyboard & mouse)

    With SLI280, 2X 256SSD (Gussing Second SSD at The Price Of £300), QX9300, Blu-Ray Reader, 1200P Screen, Pro Win7, 2 Year Warentty

    = Cost Of £3900
    = USA Cost $4800
    = After Doller Converted = £2850

    £1050 Price Difference!!!

    TOTAL CONN!

It seems like these big tech companies are always getting drummed in UK/EURO courts and by those governments that they have to get it back somewhere?
