    Salvaging an m15x

    Ok I have an m15x, it still works and it’s still pretty much the dog’s bollocks in terms of components, but the case, hinge, volume panel are all going I don’t know what to do with it ( plus Im getting a new VAIO Z to replace it  )
    Here’s what I have
    2.8 ghz X9000 processor
    2X200 GB drives ( 1smart bay 1 internal )
    9800M GT Graphics Card
    4GB Ram
    DVD Drive


    Is it worth (possible) trying to make a small pc out of the components?
    Is there a bare bones case (like a mini case) and motherboard combination I can put all this stuff into?
    Or Maybe I should just let go and put it on EBay – if so how much for?

    just remove the screen and then plug a hdmi cable into a monitor and then you have a desktop

    Are you getting it rid of it? If so, ebay is your best bet.

    If you are keeping it, you can buy replacement parts off of ebay too.
