Doesn't seem like a scam to me... The price won't stay where's its at - that's for sure. The last minute of that acution will bring him in closer to what he paid....

I would as for a picture proving ownership.

    Remember, non-transferable warranty.

Pretty sure I saw those pictures in the buy/sell section on this website and the admins banned the guy from selling here again. Even if it was legit, why would you buy a 1.5k+ laptop and not have a warranty?

Having checked out the sellers detailed feedback I would be very wary about buying this from someone whose only ebay history is buying 9 different young girls outfits and never appears to have sold an item on ebay before.
Personally I have so far only bought on ebay, I doubt that the first thing I try to sell would be such a high ticket price item. Pinching photos off forums does seem to be very common too. I'd want to see photos of the M15x that include a recent newspaper front page and at the very least a piece of paper with their ebay name written on it. I know all that could be photoshopped but most scammers don't have the skills.

Seems real, why not? Remember that there are websites that give away electronics in return for you completing certain offers.. they're not scam.

So he might have gotten it from them and now he's selling it to make a profit.

One thing to think about. You Void the Warrintee if you Sell the laptop. So If anyone buys it. They will not have a Warrintee. Alienware Reps. ask for User name, Email, Card Number, Phone number and some times Address.
