These lights wont do what theyre supposed to. Though the System is working FLAWLESSY otherwise, overclocked and all, these damn lights are driving me up the wall. Theres no reason for it. Why are they continuously flashing?
It ONLY happens with the OS loaded, and has no effect on the actual lock keys, which are responding normally themselves.
BUT THE LIGHTS ARE DRIVING ME INSANE. Im this close to simply having AlienFX turn the media lights OFF altogether. PLZ help me.
I will note that, since I have worked with the laptops internals, I may have strung something wrong, but it seems unlikeley since the board is fully functional and lit.

Funny how little problems can drive people more mad than big ones.
I'd consult the error codes to see what it means. If someone can provide you with a link that is...and that person isn't me.
Maybe it means your computer will self destruct in 10...9...8... -
Same prob moo had a while back, IIRC.
It had to do with the LCD cable and or/video cards. Try doing a search of the AW section.
Oh, and his went away by itself so don't worry too much -
But..... theres no error...... ???
BTW do you know where I can find the thread about Moo's occurence?
Funny you should say its the lcd cable. I just finished fixing a connection problem with those wires after I somehow unhitched t hem and gave myself the white screen failure.
Goes away on its own?
LOL thats even less logical than the blinking is.... Oh well a shred of hope is nice. -
As I said above maybe it's a sign of impending doom for your laptop.
Or maybe the error message is an error in itself. <--more likely -
BUT there IS an error....lol
It is called a POST LED Error code and these flashing lights are telling you the code.
If you say that you were mucking around the LCD cables area then go back in there and make sure it's all plugged in and good to go. -
..... I just spent all night figuring out how to get my GPU fan to work, then frying my mind when the Monitor stopped working, but could clearly hear windows starting,... and... long story short Iv already pulled this thing apart several times,.... Ill se if it does, in fact, stop on its own cuz I dont feel like doing it now...
Your posts have been helpful, so far. -
As sleey0 pointed out Moo's error went off by itself, so the best thing to do is wait. It'll either go off eventually or you'll find out what it meant when your system breaks
