Hello, I recently installed a SSD in my slot number 1 on my M17. I then placed my 320GB Seagate into the second one. I booted up and set it on auto in the BIOS. I went to windows and there was no drive. When I restarted and went back to the BIOS it said "none".

What is happening here? I'm not really sure how to fix this.

P.S. It should say Second Harddrive Problem...Its late and some how words are disappearing.

this is the M17 (original AW) version ?

Yes this M17 is the original AW. M17 R1. I only have options for removable ATAPI, CD ROM, Removable IDE, Other ATAPI, Auto, User and None.

Is it trying to say that I have a CD ROM drive hooked up there..?
