If your payment method is paypal then for the love of God ensure you post recorded delivery with tracking and a signature.

Lots of scammers claim payment back because there is no "proof" of delivery.

I used to recommend Ebay but the seller fees are beyond ridiculous now.

Yea PayPal with registered and insured post, keep the tracking label safe. In Australia we can request, sign on receipt and that signed label comes back to the poster, maybe do that as well.

I would suggest you to do that as well, paypal is safe but you need to do this the safest way possible.

I do all my deals through pickup only. I've heard so many horror stories on the internet with scamming and what not.

I get less, but i'd rather be much safe than sorry.

Use PayPal - buy tracking information, insurance, and require signature upon delivery to avoid scams.

I've heard of people skipping out on signature and the buyer (aka. scammer) claims that they received an "empty box" in the mail and opened a dispute to get their money back.

This goes for eBay also! Require signature and get insured.

It's more they say they haven't received anything at all.

Regardless of signature on delivery, there's always a way for a buyer to screw over a seller, they can simply just say they received the wrong item, or it is working incorrectly. Following that - Send back a different item and receive a full refund.

Unfortunately electronic enthusiasts aren't the most trustworthy people to deal with over internet transactions, I'm not saying all, it's just alot of people ruin it for others.

Do it on ebay or here but receive the payment in person or get send it to a trusted relative or friend and ask them to receive the payment in person for you. obviously never do overseas trasnactions.

You can do overseas if they pay by bank xfer or other non reversable method.
