anyone else having trouble getting Dells web site to recognize their service tag as valid?
Dell's own tag retrieval software finds the right number but will not let me add it to my systems list.
Says the service tag isn't valid.
I've owned this M17x since November of '09 and purchased it directly from Dell.

Suggest calling support - they can look into this and resolve it on their end. I am able to access my Service Tag without issue.

I had issues with my M15x tag not showing up for a while, then one day it finally got recognized by their site.

I suggest calling them to see what's wrong.

As everyone has already said call dell. My last r2 had a service tag and express code that pointed to the studio xps and they were able to resolve the issue for me
