I am currently running the stock drivers that came with my M17x. The version for the video cards is 179.85. I have upgraed to Win7 OS. My question is should I update my driver, if so why? I mean what are the benefits? I am having no problems that I can discern and I have always been a "if it ain't broke" type of guy. Anyway if you think I will get a good boost from upgrading drivers, which driver is the best to use and how stable is it?

    Thanks for your help.

186.82 is the best driver right now, for me.
But if you're not facing issues like stuttering, or waking up in black screen or SLI issues or high temps, you can just continue using your driver.
    As you wish.
    I don't really know much about 179.85.
