Thx Bro ...Got to represent
-

-
Wow, coo! How did you do this?
-
Nothing too special here. Just few handpicked gadgets.

Hey man I like the looks of that weather gadget! Whats the name of it, I hate the standard one im currently using.
Thanks! -
Oh, thanks! I forgot to give the gadget names:
- iStat battery
- iStat WiFi
- WeatherCenter -
Here are my Alien desktops (technically 4)

-
For my setup ... I used Samurize.and.Tech GPU-z
-
Thanks a lot for the name of that weather gadget!
and to the guy with the 4 desktops: How did you do that???
thats AWESOME!
sorry if im a total noob lol, but this is a friendly place
-
@NuYoricanX, Thanks, will look into it.
@SumKallMeTIM, Well, technically it's .... Linux...Compiz Fusion. I doubt you can mimic it in Windows.
Have a look at this. Enjoy!
Here's while running the Armored Princess on one of the desktops in the outer space.

Ahh deskspace... I have it also
-
Can your deskspace turn into this?
-
Whoa!
This and the previous link... looks pretty amazing!
-
Yes, those can give you a preview of what can be done in Linux. If only all the games could run there out of the box with no tweaking....Dreams.
-
why you had to bring linux into this
-
Yeah I wish you could run games on it. I knew Ubuntu had some cool visual styles... but damn... this beats down Windows7 and MacOSX hands down by FAR! I have to install this now...
Looking at my Win7 now looks almost like Win95... now look what you did...
-
Needs moar Alienware wallpaper and backgrounds
-
ROAR LINUX!!!
and I don't have any Alienware branding on my desk-space... it's already all over the machine... lit up in bright colors... ha. -
Well, you will hardly ever need all the features, but the idea is to make your desktop more flexible and dynamic according to your one wishes. Don't need 4 desktops? - keep 1. Nobody is forcing you. After all it's called "EyeCandy" and this is what the thread is all about - one big show off.
-
I hate lensflares! It's so Photoshop 4.0...
Don't want to sound disrespectful but please be more creative. -

Well, it has a space helmet in it. Maybe I should find an Alien. -
What about the name of the Mac finder that you have ?, seems good looking to me, can you give me the name of this ?
Thanks -
Cool. I would remove the option to "Reset on boot" the Total Upload and Total Download meters. Then you can see how much you use in a month, year, etc. It's interesting.
Also, what are you using to show the temps on Samurize? I know, it's not native for Samurize, but figured I might ask just in case it is.
I'll post mine later on. I doubt anyone wants to see my Eee PC desktop. -
Some of these desktops are pretty sick.
-
ok here is mine sorry no gadgets or widgets. used to have samurized but i nevered really use my desktop so i uninstalled it to save resources.

All i have running is deskspace, objectdock, samurize and techgpuz for gpu readings
other temps are pulled from samurize with other plugins -
That looks freaking awesome, what are you using to achieve that?
-
research engadget, it's basicly ripping windows 7
-
It's called Rainmeter.
It's got nothing to do with Windows 7. The skin that I'm using is a mimic of the Windows 7 *Phone* UI that's been shown off - Basically, showing you panels.
You can do a hell of a lot of customisation though with it, and it's very low impact. -
yeah the phone that's what I meant
Show off your Alien Desktops...
