    Sigh, why do they have to mess up with shipping!?

    They gave me the tracking number. It is indeed fedex ground and won't be delivered until Wednesday of next week. It was supposed to ship overnight through Fedex. I was supposed to have it tomorrow, Friday.

    I tried calling but the department is closed.

    This sucks. Just venting. Thanks

    IF you did pay for next day and got ground shipping, I would call Dell Customer Care and attempt to get compensation.
    First, login to 'My Account' at support.dell.com and verify you were over charged (if then) yes continue; no end.
    Continue?, do your research; look over the Dell accessories near the value of the over charge (mouse, keyboards, etc).
    Finally call Dell Cust Svs 800.624.9897 (sorry be prepared to wait) and petition for a refund OR or compensation in accessories you like.
    IF you are prepared you will succeed in all adventures.
    BTW, DO NOT LOAD the Command Center from the supplied disk, IT WILL destroy your FX (Keyboard lighting and more).

    Well, I didn't really pay for it, but I did pay for 3 day delivery, but the rep messed up my order and put down 7 day delivery. That is why I called them to explain, and they upgraded me for free. I will do as you suggest however, since I didn't even get what I paid for which was 3 day delivery.

    Thanks for the great advice, especially regarding the command center. I had no clue.
