Hey all- Just got it yesterday 25 days after I ordered it. Awesome machine. I think my wife will like it too once she gets over how much we spent.

I have windows 7 and i7 processor. I'm interested in downloading the alienguise themes for the system just to add to the overall affect. Will it work with windows 7? I see the talk about XP and vista but not w7. I've already blown up windows once, not fun. A link would be awesome.

    Congrats on the system F1!

I'm guessing this is the R1 and shipped with Vista. Oulet or third party purchase?

Windows 7 should be fine with a few exceptions. The current W7 version of Alienware's Command Center is a bit buggy with W7. There is also an issue with the Wireless Driver and NV Chipset Driver I believe. Be sure to check the M17x General Informarion Sticky as there are several threads which can answer any questions you have.

Huh, he did say he has an i7 Cpu so I guess he has the R2. I also assume he has Win7 installed. I dont use this stuff, but you might get lucky if you use the AlienGuise for Vista.
