hey, Anyone know where I can get good Sleeve for the m15x. I'm looking for almost if not perfect fit. and inner protection for the zipper, so it doesn't scratch the plastic case.

    thanks

M15x specs from the website. and I don't think these include the rubber feet in height.
    # Height: 1.30” (I'm guessing 1.5" with feet included)
    # Width: 14.55”
    # Depth: 10.73”

here are the specs for the 17" Built sleeve
    W 13.6" x L 17.2" x D 0.5"

The sleeve's height or depth is 1" smaller than the m15x's.

is it a good fit? I mean is it cozy, or is it too tight?

So far I have my mind on these:
    http://www.builtny.com/Merchant2/me...BN&Product_Code=E-LS17-BLK&Category_Code=LS17
    http://www.goincase.com/products/detail/17-neoprene-sleeve-cl57079
    http://www.laptopstuff.co.uk/p/Crumpler_The_Gimp_Sleeve_-_Black.htm

which one of those three would be a good choice?

Any other recommendations by anyone else?

    Thanks

I'm actually using a belkin sleeve made for a 15.4. Its a little snug, but, thats fine by me.

I purchased the belkin sleave and my M15x wouldn't fit in it. I have seen pictures of the m15x in the belkin sleeve but it was the red and black sleeve. I had the black and grey version and it wasn't even close to fitting.

Yeah ... mine is the red and black sleeve. Mostly black with red zipper and inside. I would think a 17" sleeve would be a little loose.

    This one.

Another company to look at for sleeves is WaterField Designs, they're based out of San Francisco, CA. I have reviewed their bags and sleeves before, and I can assure you they provide some of the best stuff a reasonable amount of money can buy. They are priced above most bags/sleeves on the market but the quality and customer service goes with it.

They will custom-fit a sleeve for your laptop.

Isn't it a really tight fit fitting the m15x in there? That's a pretty nice case.

@Chaz - The funny thing is that the 17" red + black belkin sleve fits the M9750 very well too :)

I will warn against the belkin sleeves though. I would opt for a sleeve that uses Velcro to secure at the top via a flap or something as the zipper while not in direct contact has causes the paint on my M9750 to wear down but that is a common issue among the M9750's. I still use the case though as it is a good protector.

got my incase sleeve today. oh man, I'm freakin lovin this. its a perfect fit and if Alienware was going to make a padded sleeve for m15x, they would probably use these dimensions.

The laptop fits perfectly and snugly into the sleeve. I can post some pics if you guys want.

So in conclusion: if you order an incase 17" Macbook Pro sleeve for your m15x, you wont be disappointed.
I ordered it from Apple Canada. The total was $39 including shipping and taxes.

    hey, thanks guys.

this sleeve exceeded my expectations. I mean I saw a Targus sleeve at staples for $50, it was complete sh*t. it had weak padding and the buid quality was terrible. So I was expecting almost the same thing, well actually better than the Targus one.

So yea, if anyone's in the market for sleeves, you can certainly make this as one of the options. it's guaranteed to fit, plus its simple and professional, which I like.

(Anyone else wanna share pictures of their sleeve for m15x?, it could help out other buyers. its always good to know how it will look like, since there aren't many sleeves specifically designed for m15x)

That looks like a great case. Did the zipper ever scratch your m15x or cause any paint to chip off? I remember somebody got a sleeve with a zipper for thier m15x and it caused paint to chip off over time when he put the laptop it into the case (it was padded inside, though).
