    Is it possible to purchase the optical Smart Bay from AW and install an internal 2.5 blu-ray drive into it? Most drives can be purchased elsewhere for <$100. I figure the cost of the smart bay + the cost of an internal brd should still $150 less than the one AW offers. ;)

    i think the answer is yes. it was discussed before and if memory serves it can be done.

    This should be a no brainer on every laptop since opital bays are a technology in rapid transition.

    AW should be at the forefront of updatablility!
