Does alienware sell a smartbay battery \ HDD even after you've received your laptop? Or no?

As far as I know, they do.
But I can't find anything on the website. Best thing would be to give them a ring and ask.
They sell the smartbay HDD cases so why wouldn't they sell a HDD with 'm :p

Yep! Like Otaku said, it's even cheaper to buy it that way. They list the smartbay battery on their website for $130 when you buy it with your computer, but if you purchase it after you've already received your laptop, it's around $78ish. Mine was $78 with shipping/tax.
