Ok, so I'll have 2 hdds, one in a smartbay drive.

    My questions are:

1st. Can I install a separate OS on each hdd, and than boot from either OS?

like if I had vista on the main hdd, and Linux on the smartbay hdd. will that work?

2nd. If the question to answer (1) is yes, than if I booted from the main hdd, and inserted the smartbay hdd, would I be able to access files on the smartbay if I've already booted up into vista from the main hdd? ie like musics, pics, vids, applications.

3rd, if the answer to (2) was no, than would it work if I partitioned the smartbay hdd?

    thanks

    1) Yes you can, Just change the boot order in the BIOS.
    2) Yes the smartdrive is a plug and play device (hot swap).

You can also boot from external USB drives.

If you do add Linux to the smartbay then you would have to partition a bit to NTFS. Since Windows can not read ext3 which is what Linux is required to operate..
