    Hey all,

    I'm thinking of selling my M15x and getting a desktop.
    Either a custom build or even the x51 second hand. I really like the small form factor as My work area is small, however it doesn't have much room for upgrade options.
    eg. another HDD/SSD and I'm not sure if 16GB is it's maximum RAM?
    16GB RAM is pretty good for the work I do, and I don't really use it all on my M15x... Just not sure.

    So, what does everyone think about the x51 Vs custom?

    When it comes to desktops, always, ALWAYS go custom if you have the knowledge to do so. It'll save you money and offer almost every form factor/customization available and to your $$$'s desire. Build away friend!
