... And I have a problem. Certain things don't open (like I can't see the properties of My Computer, Control Panel doesn't open). Last time I had this problem it was because I told windows to update my GPU driver (which it messed up) and the only way to fix it was to use the AlienRespawn.

Anyone else ever have this happen? Google is of no help.

Oh and FRAPS doesn't open either. >.<

You can test the memory with memtest86+.............Any errors and the module is garbage.

That's strange. Did you try swapping out the new memory modules and putting the old ones back in yet? Try and see if that still happens once you put the old modules back in.

Hmmm, on reboot it works now. 4gig isn't really any better than 2 though, atleast not here. I noticed it more on my desktop.

That's good to hear, Lessaj7. Are you using a 64 bit version of Vista? The 32 bit can only use up to full 3 gigs even though it shows 4 gigs.

32 bit. I should go grab my VIsta disk and install 64 bit, since changing the PAE didn't help.

Will command center and all that jazz work on a 64 bit os? Might not be compatible...

I read that vista 64 bit is not supported by AW yet. You`ll have a hard time finding drivers for ALienFX and such....
