This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I have not read the posting completely yet but over on the DELL Alienware Club where ChrisM, one of the main moderators there, is having folks run a benchmark test using the Unigine Sanctuary Demo Benchmark and report back the results with ATi and nVidia GPU's.

    I had a reasonably good idea how my XPS Studio 435T/9000 desktop with the XFX XXX Edition 5870 might score but not too sure how my M17x r1 with the ATi 4807's in CFX would and I'm pretty pleased with the desktop but much less so with my M17x! :(

    Ummm... duh? It's a desktop. And it has desktop 5870, i7 CPU, etc.

    I know that, and that was not the issue, the score I am not happy with is my 4870's in my M17x and awaiting some samples of others to see what's up!
