    Hi,

    1) What's the noise on this this beast like when gaming?

    2) Does it get very hot?

    3) I've noticed the position of the mouse pad means you'll be leaning your arm over it when you game in FPS if you use the keys 'W','A','S' and 'D' for moving. Can this be problematic?

    4) Is it comforatble to game on for long periods? The height of it means there's quite a step down from the laptop to the top of the surface/desk you lean it on. Can this cause any discomfort?

    Thanks

    1) When gaming and fully utilizing the processor and gpus, the fans will kick in and it will sound somewhat like a hair dryer. To some this is way to much, for me I am ok with it since I use head phones and in my computer room, I have at least 4 towers with fans running all the time so it just blends in..

    2) Well there is heat of course.. Thats a given. However compared to all the notebooks that I have had, this is the coolest.. Just make sure to keep the fan grills on the bottom clear of any objects.

    3) It hasn't been for me since I use an external mouse. By default when you plug in a mouse, it disables the touchpad. You can also use the Fn key to disable it too.

    4) I havent had any issues and I have mine on top of a Cryo cooler.. Its actually quite comfy to me.. I also use a g13 game pad for my keys about 95% of the time and not the notebook wasd keys.. I have used them for testing purposes and didnt have any issues.. I prefer it to be on the cooler when using the notebook wasd keys as it slopes my hand/writst/arm to be more comfy.

thanks kiltrho. did have my mind set on one of these but with it being so noisy i'm not so sure now because i'm extremely sensitive to noise. saying that when I game i nearly always use headphones too so the noise may not be much of an issue. whats the battery life like on it?

um stealth mode would prolly net you ~2.5 hours and full load maybe 45 min lol.. I haven't tested that but some others have. YMMV

The noise under reg use and not heavy is very little.. Its actually not that bad..
