Very very strange issue... I use headphones ALL the time but something very strange happens when I open skype; when I launch skype it makes a sound which immediately re-routs the sound from the headphones to the speakers for the duration of the sound. So far only skype since to present this issue and yes, it happens EVERY time I open skype.

Its not too annoying but i find it weird that it happens. What could be causing this? Am I the only one experiencing this? I reinstalled the os and the problem persisted.

Maybe it's a routine of Skype to check the present sound devices on your system. I have to use headphones to check it out.

I'm under the same impression... There must be a fix out there.
