    Stealth Black vs. Nebula Red

    With the Alienware M11xR3 and Alienware M14x released today, would you choose the outer shell to be Stealth Black or Nebula Red, and why? :)

    Nebula Red: It's different than all the other sleek pieces of technology that's being featured this generation. Plus, my favorite colour is red.

    Nebula Red. Had both but enjoy the uniqueness in the red over the black. Plus it goes well with blue lighting.

    I would choose red if the entire laptop was red, including the inside. Since it's not, I'd rather have black.

    Lunar Silver!!!! It makes me sad that they don't offer it anymore, it would look great on the M18x. :(

    If I had to choose between Red or black though, I'd go with black. Red just isn't for me.

    I just think a lot of the lines, and the overall styling, is far more defined with silver rather than black or red.

    The red definitely looks nice, but black is a classic color and all of the lighting options look great on it.

    If there is any chance this will be used in a professional environment, go with black.
    If not, just pick which one tickles your fancy. Not what we say...you are the one who has to look at it for years to come :)

    Red no longer have that exclusiveness feel or aura about it nomore since it is being offered in all alienware lineups and all reviews are all the red now and it feels used up.

    As my signature shows, I have a stealth black & my wife has a nebula red, but I voted other because Dell needs to be ADDING colors, not taking options away.

    Even if it had a price increase like the red did on the R1 models, I would like one in a shade of blue the same color as my truck.

    On a side note, darker purple or darker green LED colors would be nice for any color chassis.

    Black is more professional IMHO - plus it makes the beastly machine so much more mysterious when you whip it out in an airport lounge I bet.

    Now, if only Dellware would include internal mist machine as an additional extra...

    Definately black. I don't like the red colour. Not rich enough, looks dull and cheap. If it was a deep, striking tone then I'd much prefer it. Apologies to Neb Red owners, it's just my taste in colour.

    That's probably due to a camera flash. I think "dark candy apple red" (Hex: #A40000) (RGB: 164, 0, 0) would be a closer description, with light affecting the brightness... to an extent.

    However, I think it will look alot better in person. Video's with the red M14x in it look good. It does have sort of a pinkish hint in the color though. Even in the images I have seen where the laptop color looks darker.

    It's no M17x R2 aluminum finish.

    I wish I had mine here at work to compare it with the mustang's color. It definitely looks very similar. Its a darker red with absolutely no signs of pink.

    I could see them doing kind of a sparkly deep blue or something, not that I'd like it. I can just see them doing it. Maybe ill try a mockup tomorrow :D
