So with my new install of XP came one slight issue that idk what to do about. In fact, i'm not even sure if it IS an issue. However, i can;t seem to figure it out myself. The stealth, wireless, and bluetooth buttons on my m15x don't seem to give a prompt when i push them in XP like they did in vista.

    do they still work?

if yes, how can i get them to show an image on the screen again?

and if not, how can i make them work again?

    uh... maybe. :D

out of interest: does the stuff work without the OSD driver? e.g. can you open AlienFX, or disable WiFi with the quicktouch buttons despite not having the OSD driver installed?

you have to install the OSD drivers before you install the command center. As soon as you install the OSD you shouldn't have any problems.

I believe the bt and Wifi buttons work without needing the OSD installed. they work in Linux so I imagine they'd work driver-less... (i've used Live CDs) Not so sure about Stealth mode... obviously you're unable to switch to binaryGFX and use the command center in linux (or without it being installed in windows)... so that's out.

I think the Fn keys work, for the most part... eg. AlienFX, T-pad and Eject buttons, as well as the brightness controls... the only supporting evidence I have to this effect is even if I crash my computer, I can still enable/disable AlienFX and the touchpad using the Fn keys... also, considering the entire system lags for about .5 seconds everytime I use the Fn eject key combination, I'm certain it would work without any assisting software.

    my $.02

yeah, i believe some of the Fn buttons are BIOS-controlled, or however you want to call that.
