I was playing around with the colors in the Alienware software, and noticed that if I try to set white as the color for everything, I get a pinkish white for the keyboard and power button, and worse, the alien head lid face is like a weird rose color on on the left and whitish on the right....

not something to get too worked up about, but... anyone know if this is a sign of a software problem? I could see the keyboard having the problem and the face fine for instance, but for all to do this it's something else. I had this problem with the software that came loaded, but still get it with the new version as well

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Hmmm I agree to a point... but this is extreme... the logo isn't even close to white... it's like a distinct rose color... the face on the lid is laughably rose on one side...

Limitation of the LEDs. Solid white is not going to happen with the LEDs used with the keyboard. :(

Agreed. This is completely normal... white will not be white...

i wish they did use some nice LEDs... I wanted my alienware name below my screen to be bright white.

in other news, command center still resets all my lights to blue when I start it up. the fix seems to be to disable it from startup and never, ever open it.

is there going to be any fix for this?
