I'm on the fence about getting a m15x. I had the ripley, and still have nightmares from that POS...

Can I turn the keyboard LEDs all white?

Can I turn off the speaker LED?

What are the memory specifications? I'm looking at getting 3rd party memory to hopefully save money.

Will it run Photoshop CS4 like a champ?

    Is the screen glass?

Talking from an M17x point of view which is highly similar in terms of keyboard control, here it goes.
    Yes.
    Yes
DDR3 : 1066 Mhz - 1333 Mhz - some have said 8GB@1333Mhz is not worth the cost over the performance of 8GB@1066Mhz if that's what you are planning to get; while others say 4GB is still enough for 2 -3 years to come - and for that setup you can easily go for the extra 333Mhz.
    Yes
What do you mean? It's a glossy screen if it helps (brighter colors higher reflections)

You can turn them "white" but due to led limits, they won't look pure white. Kind of like a dirty white.

You can turn the speaker lights off.

For memory and DDR3 204pin 1066MHz+ RAM will work. Anything over 1333MHz may be downclocked though so theres no use in wasting money for 1600MHz+ RAM

The "white" color looks really bad and I would not recommend you using it. On my machine its looks pinkish.

If you are planning on having 8Gb, then I can highly recommend these ram:

They are the cheapest I could find and perform really really well.

Also, it seems that 1600 MHz is supported in the BIOS, but I do not know if it actually works.
