upon going through the Customization process for the M17x to find a price, i was confronted with something called RSS Feed and.......idk what that is or how important it is.....

What is RSS Feed and whats the importance of it?
also, does the M17x have an SD card(or something like that)

    "-_-

Are you sure you even need an m17x?

    What specs did you get.

And NO. Rss feeds are just info and advertsing streamed to your computer.

its more what i want than what i need =P
i know a fair amount about older computers and i understand memory, OS, processors, lcd, gpu, cpu and things of that sort, but im not the brightest with some of the newer stuff. the comp i have now is like....really old. its a huge desktop and i cant even run WoW on it anymore

very big change. it makes more pixels on the screen which makes everything look more crisp and better graphics. But less performance if u run at 1920x1200 for games.
