It looks cool, I like the looks, the custom XP skin, and it's a nice marketing ploy for a movie that is going to have trouble at the box office, but i'd rather buy an e1705 and pay someone to custom airbrush it blue and put the S on it
edit: I prefer Batman either way -

I like the Superman laptop, the blue and S shield looks nice to me, although I wouldn't necessarily buy it. I put a blurb about this in the News Bits, should be posted soon.

the laptop looks pretty good I like the blue with the big symbol, wouldn't buy it though. I also prefer batman. I could do this myself

You mean the paint job(which I think is good), and not the hardware specs?

ZOMG!!!!!
Its not like thats a $1200 paint job on a 1200 laptop. No. No thats not possible is it? Id pay money just to know the names of people who buy this one.
I happen to have a good connection on florida swampland
I want to make a drooling idiot version of the sager 5750. Im going to put a mirror on the lcd lid and charge $3500. -
I will agree about the post Crisis Superman. The paint job is nice though. Does the laptop have a PC slot?

A good in effort but a bad in design in the attempt to get away from the old out of date based on yesterday outer shell configuration , hopefully Alienware will hit on a new design that will work for this 2000+ decade.

i love the simple color with the superman logo. its hot. its supposed to be simple realist, not some freaky thing with four sets of glowing eyes and 8 different colors...
Superman LE hardware.
