I am having trouble getting a response from Dell/Alienware support for an issue with my M17x.

I only have reliable access to email support (I am military deployed to the big sandbox). Chat support at Dell is "not available for your (my) model", and phone calls over here are time limited (15 or 30 minutes).

My initial email support to Dell was on 05 October (with follow ups on the 9th and 14th) and I have yet to get a response. The old Alienware support email address is apparently no good any more.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get a reponse from Dell/Alienware/Anyone? The fan on one of my 280Ms is going bad (the one under the escape key side - upper left maybe). Even at low speeds it sounds horrible, like all the bearings went out on the fan.

Normally I would just suck it up and sit on hold with tech support, but I'm kinda busy in this "Overseas Contingency Operation for a Man-Made Disaster".

    Any help would be appreciated.

Which email address are you writing to?

The only one I can find on Alienware's website is [email protected]. Try that one?

    Be safe out there!

Try your 15 mins call and complaint about no respond. Keep sending them email (spam) until they reply. The first time I contacted CS they didn't response eventho the auto-respond email stated they will reply in 24hrs. Then I resent the email and I got respond in about 6hrs. Theyre just too lazy and you need to push them hard.
