    Hey guys,

I've tried overclocking my T9600 through the bios. I believe the default FSB is 1086, and I boosted it to 1120, and nothing... My caps button, my num lock and another one of those were lighting up wildly!

any suggestions on how to over clock this puppy? I would be happy with running at 3.0-3.2 permanently.

    thanks

Overclocking isn't guaranteed and if you have 1066 MHz ram you may have to upgrade to 1333mhz. Keep your RAM speeds the same as your fsb Speeds. I can clock my t9600 to 3.42 with 1300mhz fsb but I have 1333mhz ram. Some people here can push the t9600 to 1333mhz but for me it locks up. Luck of the draw bu be sure your ram is up to snuff

yeah mine's at 1333 FSB and RAM and it's stable. Pretty freakin sweet.

It might sound weird, but try putting in a higher number for both. I've found that there are certain frequencies that simply DON'T work. Also, it's a gradual thing - I wasn't able to set mine to 1333 each right away without getting lots of bluescreens.

I found the same thing Zath, some numbers even though they are within limits and well below what is capable, just worked really badly and caused issues. Not sure why that is, but pain in the rear. Try bumping up to 1200+ and see.
