I bought my mouse a few years back and didn't have an issue with it until a few days ago. I remember the mouse having 5 dpi speeds that are changeable through the mouse buttons (under the left click), but now, I am only able to get 3. Also, the mouse's "forward" and "backward" buttons on the side has it's functionality changed. It no longer goes forward or backwards, it now resizes the window contents (exactly what happens when you do "ctrl" + mousescroll).
I have tried using the Mouse CI software to re-assign the buttons, but it won't work. The "forward" and "backward" buttons no longer re-size the screen, but they do nothing at all! Also, what does the "Profile" button on the underside of the unit do? Would this be part of the issue? Please help!

Push the profile button, then use the dpi adjustment to switch between profiles. There should be 3 set in the CI, chances are you are set on the "gaming" one.
I had the same problem, just take some time and poke around the CI and you will figure it out pretty fast.... or read the owners manual. -
Son of a gun! That worked! Thanks for the tip!

It took me like a hour to figure it out the first time
I remapped everything and it still would revert back everytime. Then I got it all figured out.
