So, heres my problem. It seems to be freezing up while im playing games. the screen just freezes. i cannot do anything but reboot it. I think it may be a temperature problem. I did dust it with some air and nothing happened. sitting Idle right now the CPU Temp is 60C, HD Temp is 40C(Using Notebook Hardware Control)...I have a stand for it with dual fans...although it doesnt seem to be helping much. My computer freezes while im playing Starcraft...STARCRAFT! what the hell is up with that! anyway let me know what u guys think about my situation. and i really do not know much about Laptops so try and guide me as specific as possible if you dont mind.

60C sounds normal for idle, but you should log your gpu temps when you are playing the games. It may not necessarily be a temperature related problem.

Try upgrading your drivers. Your graphics drivers could be bugging out on your while you play.

Also, since you're playing Starcraft.. are you playing it online? IF not, log onto battle.net and you'll automatically download the latest patch. vanilla starcraft is a little buggy and does freeze unpatched.

    Ulrich453,

How long into the game the system freezes? Test the system with SLI disabled, run 3dMark to test the video. If the issue persists please call our technical support for assistance on this matter.
