    Hey everyone!.

I'm new around here, I just posted something about the grafic card , and it was really helpful.

So, that's not a problem that I have (I believe), it's more about information.

I have been looking in the diferents post but I did not get so much info.

What I would like to know, if with are the "normal" temps in the M17
    My specification are:

    P8600
    Vista 64
    2 x 2024 MB DDR3
    3870x2 Crossfire Enable
    250GB 7200RPM

When I have to get worry for the temp? I have read something about the grafics , that less that 90 it's ok.

I gonna attach a image with the temps IDLE (just opera running (pretty full of open windows) and Skype ), I think they are a bit high. In the image you also can see the max, I was playing Aion for 30 min or so, and this was the temps. But when I'm playing WoW , there are much higher.
Actually when I turn on the laptop this morning, I wait 10-15 min under same condition, opera, skype... and the temps of the GPU was around 47° in the both cores.

The M17 is on the normal wood table, and the temp of the room is around 19-20°. I'm not using any cool dock , do I need it?

So, what it suppose to be normal temps, and when I have to freak out? :p

    Thanks guys for the help

Edit: Now after to write the post the temps are 1° higher on all the points.

I hit 99 in the cpu before :)

I would say get as low as possible but don't fret if you hit 80-85.

Your temps are prefectly fine. They're good in fact. My CPU and northbridge actually idle on 54C, although that's down in part to it being a quad core.

Under full load, you should be perfectly safe as long as your CPU and graphics cards stay below 90C. If the hard drive starts going above 60C however that's hitting danger point. If your CPU or graphics cards go above 90C it should still be fine, as long as they don't go above 100C-then you've got problems-but optimal running for lifetime and the such is below 90C.

Temps are similar to my own except the CPU (I have an X9100) and the second HDD.
