Hey guys, first time poster here. I woke up this morning and after 18 days of being in the "build" stage I finally am in the boxing stage.

I'm wondering if this was the case with a lot of m17x orders since I read around that a shipment of the lcd screens was supposed to arrive today, also how long does it usually take to go from boxing-shipped?

    Search is you friend :D :D :D

Seriously though... You don't need to start a new thread for this question.

Congrats on the purchase and if your in the US boxing will take 2-5 days (4 being average for the M17x).

Haha thanks, I know. I actually did read your post in the order status thread, that Dell number really helped me out.

But I'm just trying to see how long the average wait is with all these delays going on.

Instead of telling you you can find the answer elsewhere, I'll actually just tell you the answer... lol

My boxing stage lasted 5 days (~3 business days). Some have only lasted 2 full business days, and 2 days period. As mine also went into the boxing on a Thursday (last thursday), I'm going to speculate that yours will ship out on Monday or Tuesday of next week.

    Hope that helps.

For whatever reason the boxing stage for this laptop is taking longer than other Dell systems (by 1-3 days).

Hey, at least your in boxing and you should get your system pretty soon!

Oh dont worry about it....we all understand the excitement.

Yeah I agree with sleeyO..from my experience and other peoples experiences that I have read on this forum this boxing process for the new M17X seems a process in itself compared to their previous models.

hope you enjoy it when it arrives.
