    Start with an ordinary portable laptop desk

    Unfold the "wings" (if you have them)

    Add a grille... This is a ClosetMaid wire shelf cut down to size

    Notice the nice place to store the AC adapter (instead of the floor)

    Add a laptop cooler (optional). I like the NotePal U3 cooler best.
