Cool. Most probably will replace the keyboard as we know it... everywhere?
    Time will tell..

i thought about a touch screen keyboard before but i would really rather feels the keys im pressing. i will probably never like using a touch screen keyboard over a physcial key keyboard.

meh. would make the m17x a $5k laptop... then think how much folks would moan if it were not perfect, had 5.1 speakers with 1000w of power, tri-sli 9800's, quad core cpu, and build quality that puts lenovo to shame.

Actually now that I think of it, theres a person in a couple of my college classes that uses a touch screen keyboard. She types lecture notes for those in need. She use to type on a regular keyboard but once she got a hold of this puppy.. damn. It has to be expensive.

Not to mention she types really quickly. I mean, I thought the computer had 'voice-recognition software' but once I noticed the person typing.. it just blew my mind. :O

I think this probably would be annoying for the same reason the touch controls on the m15x is annoying. There is no feedback, click or sound, which means that you never really know if you hit the key until something happens on screen.

touch typing on the ipone's touvhscreen doesn't have any feedback and after getting used to it, its the fastest input method i have ever come across

That would be cool on a sub notebook or a ultra compact, where size matters. On a desktop replacement, it's just extra heat that laptops already have a hard time handling.

I would love to see this concept on a small notebook, like HTC slide looking thingy.

Imagine how frustrating if this keyboard works like touch control on our m15x!!! Nice concept tho. I wonder how much this would cost tho... i don't think it will be worth the price.

lolz :D, but hope its not too fragile... i mean playing games would sometime lead you to pushing the keyboard button very very hard... like a smackdown.. lolz.. :D ... i think this will be super pricey and if it was one in a notebook, it will be even more expensive..
