I wasn't sure where the place to put this would be, but I figured the Alienware forum is probably best. The m15x still looks really original, but, is it just me, or does that Sony Vaio N from a year and a half ago almost look like the m15x, just without the extra Alienware touch and the lights?

Most laptops look indistinguishable to me without a brand blazed across them (with the exception of the m15x, m17x and those seizure-inducing Dell XPS ones--I forget the numbers), but I can see the similarity between the two.
-
I can also see a simmilarity to the Macbook Pro.
they also have the glowy apple on the back side...
OH NOES!! THEY COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF APPLE! -
They probably used the same barebone ODM. Since many laptop companies get their barebones from a limited amount of ODMS

I see the similarity also. Most notebooks are blah. Even dells new colored cases. The xps systems stand out but not always in a good way imo. Macs are nice, very streamlined clean designs but I like having something special I think the aw is the best looking notebook on the market short of something really high end like voodoo

I wish the M15x had those hinges... No wobbling.

i looked at my friend's vostro that has the same hinges as that sony and has wobble. its not as much as m15x tho, but its there.
The m15x wasn't a completely original design...
