Ok - while surfing or using items on my m15x i get these boxes that come up (see attachments) all the time.
they are very annoying becuase at times i can not see what is below or they block certain things until they go away.
(the attachments are of surfing, but i also get them on the 15 when looking for files or some such stuff)
is there a way to disable the pesty gremilins from the m15x?
thx.

They're called tooltips. They're only there if the web developer codes them in. Or if the program they use does it automatically. Basically it jusst gives you more exytra info. Not sure how to turn them off though. Not IN IE anyway. In firefox there's a plugin to stop them.

is there a way to turn them off in the m15x for when not using the net?
i get them when looking for files on the c drive and such as well.... -
Control Panel -> Folder Options
Under the View tab, uncheck "Show pop-up description for folder and desktop items".
Should be disabled now~ -
