I just wanted to know if anyone had problems with dead pixels on a new m15x. I just got it about three weeks ago, and I just cleaned the screen today. There are no scratches on the screen but there is like four dead pixels. I tried to clean the screen repeatedly but the three black spots are still there. Two of the dots are small and the other is a little bigger. It is bugging me real bad. I dont know what it is any suggestions.

if one is bigger it may qualify for the dead pixel warranty coverage id call dell/aw and see if they would replace the screen.

yeah call them they will replace it. but watch out for on site tech. most of them have never seen an M15x before.
I had 2 dead pixels, called them. had it replace the next day with a new screen with even more dead pixels, lol. tech came by scratch up everything, ended up bricking my M15x. so long story short i got a new replacement unit, this time no dead pixels. -

i paid for those specs, but i made them gave me a mouse and headset for my troubles, and sold them already.lol

Could somebody please tell me exactly what bricking entails? I understand it prolly means just when your system no longer works, but could you be more specific please?
Thank you so much!

Thank you for you alls quick responses. It is very furstrating because I am going to be working out of town for the next three months. One of the main reasons I got this laptop was to play games at high settings while i am away. I dont have not time to call a tech guy to come over and evaluate the problem. I guess I am going to have to wait until the beginning of May to try and resolve my problem. I just wanted to ask if the warrenty covering accidents was worth the purchase? Does it really cover accidents like dropping the laptop or broken screen? I plan on using this laptop for two years from this month, do you think this laptop will have any resell value if any by then. Thank youll in advanced.

EDIT: And how do they usually fix it? Do you send it in? -
