Outlet coupons and Dell Home coupons do not have special use requirements. EPP does.

    BatBoy, Thanks for the reply!

I called up Dell Sales.. I asked if I had purchaced, 2 weeks ago, a laptop .. and now it is on sale at dell for cheeper.. would I get the difference?

Reply: " Nope, ha ha we're not BestBuy where you can go in and get the difference cause it's cheeper in 2 weeks "

I told him: "Those choice of words are exactly what you would not want to say..that should never be said to a customer calling, because the customer would do exactly that and go to BestBuy where they will pricematch within 30 days".
I asked " So if I bought a laptop today, and in 2 weeks you have it on sale, you would not refund me the difference? "
    His reply was : " nope " ( silence )
I said ok thanks.. I'll post that on the forums for the Alienware Moderator to view"

He said: " OK.. is there anything else I can help you with today? "
    I said .. " no, thanks very much "

    OH well, I tried.

Give them a call back - ask for a supervisor. That type of reply is just bad customer service for any company. As for the 'post it on the forums for the AW Moderator" - lol, thats pointless. Hahaha - like they are going to care. They should though - not because I will see it - but their entire notebookreview.com customer base. ;)

Just call back - the rep you talked to sounds like an idiot who doesn't care about their job or company they work for.

Yep I agree with Batboy chiefs. Thats just shocking customer service.

I have see heard and read many people ring in and said that they bought this here at such and such time and now it is for this price Dell gladly refunded them the difference. Its only good customer service and they are supposed to try and keep us happy ey....? Anyway yeh ring back and speak to someone else.
I'm sure you will get a much different answer oles.

    Good Luck.

    Cheers. :)

There used to be a 5% code somewheres on here... I know there was the student code and there still is, but someone had found a code from their website for 5% off for whomever had it I guess...

Anyways, I got a pretty good deal the other day over the phone and I'm poor... was thinking since I have the online cart - I may be able to add the %5 discount on top of that and save a few more bucks?

    Just crap shooting here.

    @Screensaver

This is what you want to do.

    1) Call them up and being polite as you are, asked them to price match the same laptop you just bought two weeks ago with todays price. Tell them to verify on the configuration page. Also let them know that it also stated on the website that they have 30 days low price guarantee. They have to do the price match.

    2) If they don't price match, just tell them that you want to get a return label process for your return, just the fact that they don't stand by their low price guarantee policy and giving bad customer service.

It is simple as that. I have never ran into a dead end rep at dell, and I have purchased many many Alienware laptop.

I sent an email.. they replied on a sugestion about how to use E-Value codes and click here to further push the issue.. so I clicked here .. and now waiting for that reply.. Atleast its ' post marked ' the day the code was still valid.. Infact now I see there is yet another 25 % code : R05M33F8TTS03Q.

Also, Thank you all for the great replys. ~ reborn2003, Rengsey R. H. Jr., Mavericke_m15x, and BatBoy: )
