I think there is some misunderstanding... though they should confirm that. I myself changed my address without any problem.

Well then call Alienware and raise holy hell!

I'd skip the CS and demand managers!

Sorry if my previous post was offensive.

    guys you are scaring me.
what the hell is going with the m15x hinge ?
i read about it all over the forum ,how do you know that the hinge is getting to broke ? or do you made any bad move that effected the hinge ?
i suffer little resistance when i open my LCD. (i hear some creepy sounds when opening) ,does that mean that i am going to suffer the same ? a broken hinge?
    because i have no warranty.

Depends on how old the laptopis, rumour has it that there was a new batch around the end of july. And only those before hand will have these problems... :)

there is no proof at all for those rumours, Napbree. this whole "old batch/new batch" talk sounds fishy to me.

No, if you want to know what I think it is, its this:

Alienware attempted to fix it with a minor change in the build. But they're not sure if it has - so to cover their back they haven't said anything about a new batch. Just incase all these ones fail as well...

How could the hinge break so quick if you just bought it?! Even if it's a common problem i really don't think it'll break that quick, even if it's a little boy using it.

Ive change my adress from Rhode Island my cousins house to my house in portugal and no problem, i even sent my laptop in for repairs because i screwd up the bios update and it took a week, and alien ware is not even represented in my country.

I am very satisfied with them.

a little patcience and things will resolve...

i think most people call alienware already pissed off a thinking they have the worst coustumer support, are more preocupied in talking with supervisores to get refunds than actualy trying to solve there problem

Awesome. I dig my skullcap very much, so I won't be doing it myself, but just nice to know the option is available.
